The Breast Enhancement Procedure
Dr. Oldham offers both saline and silicone gel breast implants to his patients and he wants his patients to have the freedom to make the choice that is best for them. During your initial consultation with Dr. Oldham, you will have the opportunity to discuss your goals for the procedure and learn how those goals can most effectively be met. He will also explain your options for the positioning of the implants and the incisions through which they will be placed. There are aesthetic and practical advantages and disadvantages to each, and this will be described to you in detail during your consultation.
Breast augmentation is performed as an outpatient procedure and generally requires between one to two hours. Incisions can be made in the crease beneath the breast or around the areola.
